Japan With Love..

Dearest all,

In just a one-week term break, daily updates of tsunami and threats of nuclear melt-down has flooded our news media channels. Despite turmoil, political unrest in other parts of the world and the ongoing series of unprecedented calamities that have befallen Japan, I hope all of us and our loved ones are safe and you have had a restful term break.

It is in times of disaster and crisis that the resilience of the human spirit is brought to test, even for the people in Japan who have been well-trained in dealing with earthquakes.
This brings to mind the importance of building upon our capacity to defend our homeland and reflecting on our level of preparedness in the face of crisis.
Read on to find out how the Japanese have responded to what the Japanese PM has deemed as their nation's "worst crisis since WWII".

Dear Parents - Science Revision Books

Dear Parents,

During the recent meet-the-parent session, some parents would like to know how they can help their child to revise the Science topics. One of parents asked if there are any recommended books for their children. These are some of the revision books for your consideration as the notes may be helpful for revision and the information provided is closely matched to the syllabus.
