“ Vrrrrroommm!” a motorbike sped like the wind pass them. An old man was lying on the road, helplessly. My neighbour, John, and I immediately rushed to help the old man. “We were on our way to the community centre to play basketball when a motorbike sped pass, knocking the old man,” I reported to the police.

         “Let’s go!” I shouted impatiently. Tom drifted the basketball left and right. I could not wait any longer, I ran towards Tom snatching the ball from him and shooting it towards the goal.

       “Screech” That sound bursted in my ears as I got the ball. “What was that?” Tom said with eyes wide open. I ran towards the road, my legs stood rooted to the ground and my jaws dropped. As Tom was huffing and puffing, I told him that a motorcyclist had knocked down an old man but sped off.

­­ ‘Bang!’ I looked up. A motorbike whooshed past. Next, I saw an old man lying motionless on the road. I felt devastated and shocked! What could I do? Bring him to the hospital or leave him there?

     “Hello Paul! Are you going to play basketball?” I asked.” Wait a while please! I am wearing my socks and shoes!” Paul replied. “Quickly! I am going down to house downstairs.” I said as went down the stairs. “Okay!” He said. When I reached the house down and I saw him downstairs at his flat. We decide to walk to the Community Centre. When we reached the Community Centre, we saw a crowded of people on the nearby road.”Hey , Paul do you want go and see what are they crowding at?” I said. “Okay, fine.” He replied. They went to the crowd and an old  man lying on the road. The crowd of people said “A motorcyclist had knock the old man”.

                    Opening paragraph – using speech

“Kim, want to go play basketball downstairs near the                  community centre? I asked my neighbor, Kimberly, excitedly.

“Sure! Let’s go then!” Kimberly replied in a great mood tone.    

We talked and chatter down the street to the basketball court. “Bang!” A sudden loud crash disturbed us. We turned around quickly in the direction of the crash. Soon, we spotted a motorcyclist rushing off with full speed and an old man lying on the floor injured.

As soon as possible, we rushed to help. A commotion started at the place.

“Mum, can I go to the park with our neighbour?” I

asked.

“Yes. You may” Mum replied.

“Come on, Shi han!” I said

As we are walking down the road, we saw a man knocked the old man and ran off. We went to see what happened.

“Are you okay?” said Shi han.

“I am fine.” said the old man in a slowly and weakly voice.

“ Shall we take you to the doctor for checkup? Shi han and I said together.
