Compo Term 3 writing package- opening speech(using speech)

“ Vrrrrroommm!” a motorbike sped like the wind pass them. An old man was lying on the road, helplessly. My neighbour, John, and I immediately rushed to help the old man. “We were on our way to the community centre to play basketball when a motorbike sped pass, knocking the old man,” I reported to the police.

“Let’s go!” I shouted impatiently. Tom drifted the basketball left and right. I could not wait any longer, I ran towards Tom snatching the ball from him and shooting it towards the goal.
“Let’s go!” I shouted impatiently. Tom drifted the basketball left and right. I could not wait any longer, I ran towards Tom snatching the ball from him and shooting it towards the goal.
“Screech” That sound bursted in my ears as I got the ball. “What was that?” Tom said with eyes wide open. I ran towards the road, my legs stood rooted to the ground and my jaws dropped. As Tom was huffing and puffing, I told him that a motorcyclist had knocked down an old man but sped off.

‘Bang!’ I looked up. A motorbike whooshed past. Next, I saw an old man lying motionless on the road. I felt devastated and shocked! What could I do? Bring him to the hospital or leave him there?
